Compliance & Ethical Use

To ensure a trustworthy and professional environment for both merchants and customers, all merchants using the CashOver platform must adhere to the following compliance and ethical guidelines.

Authorized Store Creation​

  • Merchants must only create stores for businesses or brands they are officially authorized to represent.
  • Unauthorized use of third-party brand names, trademarks, or intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or legal action.

Use of CashOver Branding Kit​

  • Merchants should prominently display the official CashOver Branding Kit materials provided during onboarding to communicate acceptance of CashOver payments and DropOver deliveries.
  • The branding kit includes:
    • Stickers for storefront windows
    • Table tents for in-store placement
    • Counter displays at checkout points

Proper branding fosters customer trust and increases payment adoption.

Ethical Business Practices​

Merchants must operate with honesty and integrity, including:

  • Providing accurate product descriptions and pricing
  • Avoiding deceptive marketing or false promotional claims
  • Respecting customer privacy and data protection laws
  • Resolving disputes professionally and promptly

Prohibited Activities​

  • Listing counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products
  • Engaging in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks
  • Using offensive or inappropriate language in any content
  • Manipulating order processes or delivery information to mislead customers

Banned Products and Services​

CashOver merchants are strictly prohibited from listing, promoting, or selling any of the following products or services on the platform:

  • Tobacco and related products
    Includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape products, rolling tobacco, and any nicotine delivery systems.

  • Alcoholic beverages
    All forms of alcohol including spirits, beer, wine, and any derivatives.

  • Drugs and controlled substances
    Both prescription and non-prescription narcotics, including herbal and synthetic substances classified as illegal in your jurisdiction.

  • Weapons and ammunition
    Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives (unless clearly culinary), and related accessories.

  • Counterfeit goods or replicas
    Imitations of branded products, fake luxury items, or pirated media.

  • Gambling, lottery, or betting services
    Including digital or physical lottery ticket sales, betting tips, or casino-related items.

  • Sexually explicit or adult material
    Pornographic media, adult toys, or services of a sexual nature.

  • Live animals or endangered species
    Includes animal trade, parts derived from animals (e.g., ivory), and wildlife products.

  • Hazardous or illegal items
    Items restricted under national or international law, including chemicals, pesticides, or regulated tech.

  • Fake documents and services
    Forged IDs, diplomas, government documents, or anything aiding identity fraud.

  • Stolen or unauthorized goods
    Products that infringe on intellectual property rights or are obtained through illicit means.

  • Unapproved medical products or supplements
    Items that claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease without regulatory approval.

  • Any item banned by local, regional, or national law
    Merchants are responsible for staying informed about the legality of their offerings in their country of operation.

⚠️ Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension, legal action, or permanent account termination. CashOver reserves the right to update this list without prior notice.

Monitoring and Enforcement​

  • The CashOver team regularly reviews merchant activities to ensure compliance.
  • Non-compliance may result in:
    • Content removal or modification
    • Temporary or permanent account suspension
    • Legal action if necessary

⚠️ Merchants will be notified of any violations and given an opportunity to correct issues before enforcement actions.
