Content & Media Guidelines

CashOver prioritizes professionalism, clarity, and trust across all merchant listings and visual content. To maintain quality and consistency throughout the ecosystem, merchants are expected to follow the guidelines below.

Image Standards

All images used in your store — whether for banners, products, or promotional materials — must adhere to the following standards:

Resolution & Quality

  • Minimum resolution: 1000x1000px
  • Images must be clear, well-lit, and high-quality
  • Ensure images accurately represent the item

Branding & Watermarks

  • No watermarks, third-party logos, or unrelated branding
  • Avoid decorative borders or shadows unless explicitly required for platform-specific styling

Composition & Style

  • Avoid collages, heavy filters, or text overlays
  • Maintain high contrast between foreground elements and the background for clarity at small sizes (e.g., icons, status indicators, thumbnails)

Background Guidelines

Icons & Illustrations

  • Use transparent backgrounds (PNG) unless a specific background is required by the platform

When a Background Is Necessary

  • Use flat, neutral colors (e.g., white, light gray, or muted brand tones)
  • Avoid gradients, textures, or flashy hues that distract from content or reduce accessibility

Required Image Dimensions (Per Entity)

EntityRecommended Size

Store Avatar (Logo)Minimum 512x512 px

Store Branding Assets

Your store avatar is used to represent your business across the platform. The CashOver and DropOver interfaces will extract the color palette from your logo, which will be applied to buttons, background gradients, and highlights.
Make sure your logo:

  • Is square-shaped and centered
  • Clearly represents your brand
  • Has a clean background (preferably transparent or white)

Store Banner Image

The store banner image is a dynamic visual element. It’s your space to promote what your store offers in a professional and appealing way. You may:

  • Use a generic image that showcases your offerings
  • Update it periodically to highlight new deals, seasonal specials, or campaigns

Think of it as the digital storefront window — it should attract attention and inspire trust.

Text Content Standards

All text displayed on the DropOver and CashOver platforms must follow professional communication guidelines:

  • Product descriptions must be grammatically correct, clear, and concise
  • Use only truthful and relevant information about items or offers
  • Do not include:
    • Vulgar or offensive language
    • Insults or hate speech
    • Misleading promotional claims

⚠️ The DropOver team reserves the right to edit or remove content that does not follow these standards.
Merchants will be given 24 hours to correct flagged content. After that, changes may be enforced without notice.

❌ Receiving 3 or more strikes for guideline violations may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Withholding of funds pending resolution

Keeping your media and descriptions professional improves user trust, conversion rates, and overall experience.
