KYC

CashOver requires KYC (Know Your Customer) verification to comply with global and local financial regulations, prevent fraud, and enable access to all features — including withdrawals, swaps, and high-value transactions.

How to Submit Your KYC

To submit your KYC:

  1. Open the CashOver personal app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap on Manage Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and select Your KYC Submissions.

From there, you can:

  • View any existing incomplete submissions, if applicable.
  • Or start a new submission if none are pending.

⚠️ If a submission is currently under review, rejected, or verified, you will not be able to submit a new one until that submission is fully processed.

Required Information

When submitting a KYC request, you will need to provide the following:

  • Full legal name (as stated on your official documents)
  • Date of birth
  • National ID number or Passport number
  • Residential address
  • A clear photo of the selected official document (National ID or Passport)
  • A selfie image for identity confirmation

Where to Find Your Document Number

To correctly fill in your National ID or Passport number, refer to:

  • Passport:
    The passport number is usually found on the upper-right corner of the identification page. It's typically a combination of letters and numbers.

  • Lebanese National ID (هوية):
    Look for the number printed on the front of the card, typically labeled as "رقم السجل" or "ID Number".

  • Other IDs:
    Always use the number exactly as shown on your document, without modifications or assumptions.

Ensure all information is accurate. Submitting incorrect details may lead to rejection.

Submission Statuses

Your KYC request will progress through the following statuses:

  • incomplete: Information is missing or saved as draft
  • awaitingReview: Submitted and waiting to be picked up
  • underReview: Actively being reviewed by the KYC team
  • verified: Successfully approved
  • expired: Timed out or invalid due to delay
  • rejected: Failed validation; needs re-submission

You will receive a notification in the app once your status changes.

Processing Time

KYC reviews can take up to 3 business days. We aim to process every request quickly, but delays may occur during high volume periods or if additional checks are required.

Data Privacy & Compliance

CashOver respects your privacy and complies with all legal obligations related to user identity. Your KYC data:

  • Will never be sold, monetized, or shared with unrelated third parties.
  • May be shared only with:
    • Legal authorities
    • Licensed compliance auditors
    • Regulatory entities that require identity checks

We follow strict data protection policies to ensure your sensitive information, including personal documents and selfies, are securely stored and transmitted.

  • Submitting false or forged documentation is a criminal offense.
  • Creating or operating a CashOver account for fraudulent purposes will result in:
    • Immediate account suspension
    • Possible legal prosecution under Lebanese law or the law of the country you reside in
  • CashOver reserves the right to report suspicious activity to law enforcement or regulatory bodies without prior notice.
